There are a numerous cleaning kits out there that could be used to clean items in your jewelry collection. In this guide we showcase the collection of products from Connoisseurs. They quote their products as being "Beauty treatment for Jewelry". In this article we take a close look at two of their most popular cleaning kits. The Sonic Jewelry Bath
First up is the Connoisseurs Sonic Jewelry Bath. The cleaner itself uses sonic waves to clean jewelry that has been immersed in a cleaning solution. Once turned on, the cleaner sends sonic waves through the cleaning solutions to clean the piece of jewelry.
Inside the kit you will find the Sonic Cleaner along with the Carousel & Suspension Hooks , which holds the jewelry in the cleaner. Also inside you will also find a cleaning solution packet and a instruction booklet. What's not included are 4 AAA batteries that will be needed to power the Sonic Cleaner. Jewelry types you cannot clean in The Sonic Bath
Depending on the type of jewelry being clean you will use one of two cleaning mixtures as described in The Sonic Jewelry Bath. For jewelry listed as (Regular) you will be using a full strength mixture. For jewelry under the delicate category, you will use the half strength mixture. There are two types of cleaning solutions that are available. The pre-mixed one and the concentrate. With the pre-mix solution you can just pour it directly into the basin, and with the concentrate you will need to mix 7-parts warm water to 1-part concentrate. Next you will have to fill the basin to the marked spots on the basin. I have pointed this out in the picture below.

Next, using the hook hangers provided with kit. I hang my ring and lower it into the basin and secure the top.
Next I turn on the Sonic Cleaner and wait 3 minutes while it cleans the ring.
After 3 minutes I remove my ring and dry it off.
The Sonic Cleaner did a great job on this piece. In Part 2 of my series on jewelry cleaning kits, I will go through the process of using Connoisseurs Basic Cleaning Kit.
